What’s the Process for Working Together?

Woo hoo! You’re ready to take the plunge and work with me to build a beautiful new website - or overhaul an existing one. But what exactly is the process you can expect when you contact me about Web Design?

  1. Consultation: After your first inquiry, I’ll get in touch and we’ll schedule a quick intro call. This will allow me to get a preliminary idea of your business, what you need, etc.

  2. Contract: After the consult, if we both decide it’s a good fit (yay!) and choose to move forward, I’ll send over a contract for you to sign. Typically, a 50% deposit is due before the start of the project, and the 50% balance after completion and prior to delivery of your project.

  3. Discovery: We’ll schedule a time to meet (via Zoom/Google Meet or in person if you’re in North Central MA) - whatever works best for you and your busy schedule - and go over all the details about your website. I’ll compile that info into a brief, which will be the roadmap from which I work!

  4. Execution: Once I have the brief, three things will happen:

    • You will get me all the assets I need by a certain, agreed upon date. Assets may include logos, written content, or more.

    • I’ll get to work on your website! I will keep you updated and informed on progress, and you can reach out to me anytime with questions, comments, coffee…

    • We’ll schedule an “intensive” for the near future (again, in person or via Zoom/Google Meet).

  5. Intensive: The “intensive” is our chance to review the website and handle revisions and adjustments in real-time - together. Expect this to last a couple of hours, give or take. If, at the end of the intensive, there is a bit more work to be done on the website, we’ll either:

    • Communicate about the revisions via email (if they’re minor), or

    • Repeat the intensive (if the remaining revisions are substantial)

  6. Delivery and Happiness: After you’ve approved all the assets and other deliverables, we’re done! We’re happy! Your online home will be ready to share.
